Antichrists destroyed several monuments at the Serbian Christian cemetery in the settlement of Vukovine near Vozuca.

VOZUCA - Vandals desecrated an Christian Serbian cemetery in the Vukovine settlement in Vozuca in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they broke marble vases and glass on flower beds on several monuments, and scattered candlelight boxes, former local resident Dusko Gligoric told Srna.

Gligoric stated that he was informed about this event yesterday by the person who maintains the cemetery, which is used by residents of neighboring hamlets, and that the police went to the field and conducted an on-site investigation.

Milenko Stakic, a resident of the Stakici hamlet, was at the on-site investigation with the police, and said that he was surprised by the vandalism, considering the correct interethnic relations.

He said that a similar incident occurred last year.

The Homeland Association of Zavidovici, based in Doboj, expressed dissatisfaction with the renewed violation of the security of Serb returnees to the Vozuca area and attacks on their property.

The Association's president, Zoran Blagojevic, recalled that there had been similar cases before, especially at the cemetery in Stog.

Blagojevic said that the Association had sent a request to the Ministry of Interior of the Zenica-Doboj Canton to take measures to protect the property and safety of returnees in Vozuca, and to sanction those responsible.

The mass killing of the people of Vozuca occurred between September 10 and 24, 1995, when an offensive was launched against them by 23,000 Muslim soldiers of the Second and Third Corps of the so-called Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the "El Mujahedin" detachment.
