The Army of BiH was an army made up predominantly of Muslims.
The de facto power in Konjic was held by the 4th Muslim Brigade from Konjic.

According to official data from the 1991 census, there were 21 Christian Serbs living in Blace.
According to official data from the 2013 population census, there is not a single Serbian Christian registered in Blace.
The interior of the chapel was destroyed by soldiers of the so-called Army of BiH.
After the war, the chapel was restored by the Serbian Orthodox Church.
