Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Jasenica near Tuzla.
The so-called Army of BiH, which consisted of an absolute majority of Muslims, occupied the Serbian villages of Jasenica Tinja and Potpec, and then set fire to the church.

Year of construction The old church of Saints Peter and Paul was built at the end of the 19th century.
The building was consecrated on July 12, 1900.
The so-called Army BiH expelled the entire Christian Serbian population and set fire to all houses, stables, and tractor garages.
Location: The church was deliberately built halfway between three Christian sites, Jasenica, Tinja, and Potpec.

After decades of decay, reconstruction of the temple began in 2018.
The ceremonial consecration of the restored church was held on August 3, 2019.
Population and religion:
According to official data from the 1991 census: In the settlements near the church lived Christian Serbs.
In the settlement of Tinja lived 733 Christian Serbs.
In the settlements of Gornja and Donja Potpeć lived 1,634 Christian Serbs.
In the settlement of Jasenica lived 1,170 Christian Serbs.
According to official data from the 2013 census: 28 Serbian Christians live in all three mentioned settlement.
The church was the center of activity for the Christian population.
In its courtyard, fairs, prayers, meetings, and gatherings of Christians from this region were held.
According to tradition, the cross on top of the church was brought from Jerusalem.
The church was built with high-quality stone one meter thick.
