Parish home in Blagaj, destroyed

Blagaj was the area of responsibility of the 4th Corps of the so-called Army of BiH.
The Army of BiH was mainly made up of Muslims.

Destroyed:

1992

In the photograph, it is noticeable that the buildings behind the parish house have windows and doors.

This means that the parish house was targeted for attack and that it suffered damage outside the zone of armed conflict.

It was set on fire, and fired upon multiple times with high-caliber weapons.

Completely destroyed.

The aim was to prevent the priests, the bishop, and visitors from accessing the Christian spiritual space.
