Christian Serbian chapel in the village of Paocine near Zenica
In May 1992, soldiers of another faith fired hundreds of bullets from automatic rifles into the small wooden cross on the chapel and into the walls of the chapel.

In May 1992, all Christian Serbs were expelled from Paocine.
Then, livestock and agricultural machinery were looted, and after that, all Serbian Christian houses and buildings were burned down.
Zenica Kakanj and Zavidovići and other municipalities in the Zenica region were under the control of the so-called Army of BiH.
Zenica was the headquarters of the seventh Muslim brigade of the so-called Army of BiH.
The roof of the chapel was destroyed.

In May 1992, units from Kakanj Zenica Zavidovici attacked this small Christian Serbian community.
The goal was to eliminate all Christian Serbs from Paocine.
